Who we are. Vitrio is a trading name of Vitrio Limited, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17515286. We are based in Sheffield, United Kingdom. You can reach us at ebujoe007@gmail.com.
This policy applies to everyone who uses Vitrio: laboratory staff, suppliers and marketplace sellers, and visitors to the website. It exists to keep the service safe and useful for every laboratory that depends on it. Breaking it can lead to a warning, suspension or ending of access, as set out in the Terms of Service.
1. Keep patient data out
Vitrio is for laboratory operations. Do not enter patient names, dates of birth, hospital or national identifiers, specimen or order numbers that identify a patient, results, prescriptions or clinical documents, in any field, note, comment, message or upload. If you find such data in Vitrio, delete it and tell us at once so we can help remove it from backups and logs.
2. Use it lawfully and honestly
- Only enter data you are allowed to hold and share, and keep it accurate. Records in Vitrio may be relied on in audits, so do not falsify or backdate them to mislead.
- Do not use the service to break any law, including laws on health products, data protection, export controls, sanctions, bribery or fraud.
- Use your own account. Do not share credentials, and do not let anyone else sign in as you.
3. Protect the service and other customers
- Do not try to reach another laboratory's data, another user's account, or any part of the service you have not been given access to.
- Do not probe, scan or test the security of the service without our written permission, except as the Vulnerability Disclosure Policy allows.
- Do not upload malware, send traffic designed to overload the service, bypass rate limits or other protections, or scrape or copy the service at scale.
- Do not reverse engineer the service or use it to build a competing product, except where the law allows.
4. Treat people properly
Do not use messages, comments, reviews or support channels to harass, threaten or deceive anyone, to send unsolicited marketing, or to post unlawful, defamatory or discriminatory content.
5. Marketplace conduct
- Sellers must be who they say they are, list only products they are entitled to sell, describe them truthfully (including expiry, storage and regulatory status where relevant), and honour the prices and terms they publish.
- Payment links must lead to the seller's own account with their payment provider. Do not use the marketplace to collect payments or details for anyone else, to mislead buyers about where money is going, or to take payment details inside messages.
- Buyers must make genuine requests and treat sellers' information as confidential.
- See the Marketplace Terms for more.
6. Use AI features responsibly
Review anything an AI feature drafts or suggests before you rely on it. Do not enter patient data or other people's confidential information into free-text fields that may be sent to an AI provider, and do not try to make the assistant act outside its purpose.
7. Report problems
If you think the service is being misused, or you notice a security problem or a privacy mistake, tell us through the Support page or at ebujoe007@gmail.com. We will not take action against someone for reporting in good faith.
