Suppliers log in too, just not to your data

Every supplier can be given their own portal account, isolated by middleware so they only ever see their own quotes, messages, and documents, never another company's inventory, pricing, or staff.

Getting a Supplier Set Up

From first contact to first scored delivery

1. Add the supplier record

Name, contact details, and category. A Procurement Officer or Lab Admin adds them in under a minute, no separate onboarding call required.

2. Send a portal invite (optional)

Generate a one-time portal login so the supplier can respond to RFQs and message your team directly, without ever seeing your inventory or other suppliers.

3. Run your first RFQ

Request quotes for a real item. Whatever comes back, from that supplier or others, lines up side by side for comparison.

4. The score starts building

Every delivery and complaint from here on feeds the deterministic score automatically. No manual rating spreadsheet to maintain.

A Day With Vitrio

What a reorder actually looks like

A walk through one real low-stock event, start to finish: from the alert firing to the delivery being scored.

Procurement officer reviewing a reorder on a laptop

9:02 AM: Low-stock alert fires

Nitrile gloves cross their reorder point overnight. The Procurement Officer sees it waiting on their dashboard, not buried in an inbox.

9:15 AM: RFQ goes out to three suppliers

One click sends the same request to MedSupply Co., BioChem Distributors, and a third backup supplier. No separate emails to draft.

11:40 AM: Quotes come back through the portal

Two suppliers reply through their portal login; Vitrio lines up price, lead time, and their current score side by side.

11:52 AM: Winning quote becomes a purchase request

One click converts MedSupply's quote into a purchase request, already linked back to the RFQ and the supplier record.

Next week: Delivery lands, score updates

The order arrives on time. That data point feeds straight into MedSupply's reliability score. No spreadsheet to remember to update.
