Vitrio is a web app. Use it on your phone, tablet or computer, or add it to your Home Screen—there is no App Store download.
You can use Vitrio in a browser or its own Home Screen app window.
Open VitrioiPhone and iPad
- Open this website in Safari on your iPhone or iPad.
- Open the Share menu and choose Add to Home Screen. You may need to scroll through the available actions.
- Keep the name Vitrio. If your device offers Open as Web App, leave it enabled, then select Add.
- Open the Vitrio icon and sign in with your existing laboratory account.
Menu labels vary by iOS/iPadOS version. If the action is missing in another browser, open the page in Safari and try again. Check with your organisation if device-management rules restrict installation.
Android and desktop
Open Vitrio in Chrome or Edge. Open the browser menu and select Install app or Add to Home screen, then confirm. On desktop, you may also see an install icon in the address bar.
The install button appears when your browser supports it and Vitrio is eligible for installation. You can always use Vitrio in your browser without installing anything.
What happens when the connection drops?

Live balances, approvals and reports need a connection. Supported forms you already opened can queue pending drafts locally. Attachments need connectivity. A queued draft is not a confirmed stock transaction.
After reconnecting, reopen Vitrio using the original account to resume synchronisation. Safari does not provide Background Sync on every version. Review conflicts through Review offline changes; do not clear website data while drafts are still pending.
Use a trusted device. Your browser or device settings can remove locally stored drafts, and private-browsing sessions may not retain them.
Help, privacy and your account
Your laboratory permissions still apply in the Home Screen app. Adding Vitrio does not grant access to another laboratory or unlock paid plans.
