Accessibility Statement
Last updated 23 October 2026
Who we are. Vitrio is a trading name of Vitrio Limited, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17515286. We are based in Sheffield, United Kingdom. You can reach us at ebujoe007@gmail.com.
We want everyone who works in a laboratory to be able to use Vitrio. This statement covers the Vitrio public website and the Vitrio application.
Where we stand
We build to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. We have not yet had the service independently audited, so we do not claim full conformance. What we do today: pages use headings, landmarks and labelled form fields; there is a "skip to content" link; colour is never the only way information is shown; text can be enlarged to 200% without loss; focus is visible when you use the keyboard; animation respects the reduced-motion setting in your device; and the application works with a keyboard and on phones and tablets.
Known limits
- Some dense tables and charts in the application are harder to use with a screen reader. Where we can, the same figures are available as text or by export.
- The drag-and-drop maintenance board also has a "Move" button for keyboard and touch use, but we continue to improve how it announces changes.
- Some third-party content (for example embedded video) may not be fully accessible.
- Documents you or suppliers upload are not checked for accessibility.
Tell us about a barrier
If you find something you cannot use, or you need information in another format, tell us what page you were on and what happened. Email ebujoe007@gmail.com or use the Support page. We aim to reply within 5 working days and to fix or work around the problem as soon as we can.
If you are not happy with our reply and you are in the United Kingdom, you can contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS). In Northern Ireland, contact the Equality Commission for Northern Ireland.
