The hiring process, honestly
You will speak directly with the people you would work alongside, not sit through five rounds with people who will not.
1. You reach out
Send a short note on the Open Roles page: what you'd want to work on and why, plus anything that shows how you think (a project, a write-up, a link). No cover-letter formatting rules, just something real.
2. A real conversation
A direct call with a member of the leadership team, not a screening call with someone who will pass you along. We'll talk through what Vitrio needs right now and whether it lines up with what you want to do next.
3. A paid work sample
A small, scoped, paid piece of real work, not a take-home puzzle designed to filter people out. It's the fastest honest way for both sides to see how the collaboration feels.
4. A straight answer
A clear yes or no, quickly. Not radio silence. If it's a yes, we talk through role, scope, and compensation openly before anything is signed.

Everything in the process happens over video and async messages. There's no office to visit and no reason to need one. Location isn't a factor in the decision, and neither is your calendar being in a "convenient" timezone for a headquarters that doesn't really exist.
No fixed timeline
Timing depends on the availability of the people involved. It is usually days, not weeks, and we will tell you if it will be slower.
Remote-first process
Everything above happens over video and async messages. Location isn't a factor in the decision.
