Cold-chain temperature monitoring for laboratory fridges and freezers

A fridge that drifts out of range overnight can spoil reagents worth far more than the fridge. Continuous monitoring turns that risk into an alert and a record.

Why a daily check is not enough

A reading taken in the morning says nothing about the night. Power cuts and door seals fail between checks, so the excursion is discovered only after the damage is done.

What good monitoring records

A continuous reading with a time stamp, an alert when it leaves the permitted range, and a record of who acknowledged the alert and what was done about the stock inside.

Connect the reading to the stock

An excursion matters because of what is in the unit. Knowing which items are stored in which fridge lets you see at once what to quarantine or retest.

Keep devices simple

Use loggers that can send readings to a web address, give each device its own limited key, and remove the key when a device is retired.

Common questions
